Feedmill Operator

Feed Mill Operator

Full time day shift, Monday - Friday

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ingredient receiving
  • Entering feed production in the automated batching system.
  • Loading / unloading of trucks
  • Scale trucks
  • Building and grounds maintenance.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding production targets
  • Plans and follows sequencing / flushing guidelines
  • Moisture testing on corn
  • Proper documentation of records
  • Adhere all regulatory requirements
  • Following housekeeping standards
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Follows directions from the Feed Mill Manager and Feed Mill Assistant manager

Qualifications:

  • Prefer knowledge of automated batching system
  • Prefer 1 - 2 years of experience in the feed mill industry
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect quality or safety of feed
